Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy applies to Clyft and its operating entity DormtoDream Private Limited (collectively referred to as “Clyft,” “DormtoDream Private Limited,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Both names are used interchangeably for legal, operational, and compliance purposes.

At Clyft, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality building materials to our customers. We understand that in certain situations, a return, replacement, or refund may be required. This policy outlines the procedures and conditions for returning products purchased through our website, clyfthome.com, which is owned and operated by DormtoDream Private Limited and branded as Clyft.

 


 

1. General Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return with Clyft / DormtoDream Private Limited, the item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Returned within 30 days of the delivery date

  • Unused, unopened, and in original packaging

  • In the same resalable condition as received

  • Accompanied by a valid proof of purchase or order number issued by Clyft / DormtoDream Private Limited

 


 

2. Non-Returnable Items

Due to their nature, Clyft and DormtoDream Private Limited do not accept returns for the following items:

  • Custom-mixed or tinted products (e.g., paints)

  • Cut-to-length materials such as pipes, cables, and steel bars made to specific requirements

  • Perishable goods (e.g., cement, grout, adhesives) once original packaging has been opened

  • Special-order or custom-fabricated items sourced specifically for your order

  • Hazardous materials that are non-returnable under applicable law

  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance”

 


 

3. How to Initiate a Return

Step 1

Contact the Clyft / DormtoDream Private Limited Customer Support Team at help.clyft@gmail.com or call +91 93476 49279 within 30 days of delivery. Please include your order number and reason for return.

Step 2

Your return request will be reviewed by Clyft / DormtoDream Private Limited. If approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with detailed return instructions.

Step 3

Pack the item securely in its original packaging and clearly display the RMA number on the outer package.

Returns sent without an RMA number issued by Clyft / DormtoDream Private Limited will not be accepted.

 


 

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Customers are advised to inspect all items immediately upon delivery from Clyft / DormtoDream Private Limited.

  • If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Please email help.clyft@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographic evidence.

If the issue is verified, Clyft / DormtoDream Private Limited will arrange return shipping at no additional cost and will, as per customer preference:

  • Issue a replacement, or

  • Process a full refund

Replacement Turnaround Time (TAT)

  • Approved replacements will be dispatched within 3–5 business days after verification and confirmation of the issue.

  • Delivery timelines may vary based on product availability and delivery location.

For freight deliveries, any visible damage must be clearly noted on the driver’s Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing.

 


 

5. Refunds

Processing

Once the returned item is received and inspected by Clyft / DormtoDream Private Limited, you will be notified of approval or rejection.
Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Deductions

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

  • A restocking fee of up to 20% may be applied for large, bulky, or freight items to cover handling and inspection costs

  • Restocking fees will be waived if the return is due to an error by Clyft / DormtoDream Private Limited

 


 

6. Return Shipping

  • For standard returns (e.g., incorrect order or change of mind), customers are responsible for return shipping costs

  • For heavy or bulk items, Clyft / DormtoDream Private Limited may assist in arranging freight pickup; associated costs will be deducted from the refund

  • Clyft and DormtoDream Private Limited are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit

  • Customers are strongly advised to use a trackable and insured shipping service.
